Cablevision is a subsidiary of Televisa, a Mexican multimedia mass media company, the largest in Latin America and in the Spanish-speaking world. It is a major international entertainment business, with much of its programming airing in the United States on Univision.
Televisa saw the landscape and understood the coming threat of competition from Netflix and Hulu. They hired Empathy Lab to re-brand its online presence with a stronger emphasis on Video On Demand content and to address the mobile experience.
The client was extremely happy with the results and awarded additional contract work in order to apply the same design aesthetic and UX thinking to other properties within their portfolio of networks.
